Day 3 - Sunday

IHappy Father's Day, Dad!! Today was the first day of clinic and it was so busy! I saw 40 ultrasound patients today, in 12 hours. We saw 176 patients in the clinic total, and had 11 surgeries. We distributed 90 pairs of glasses, and 20 people had their teeth cleaned. But, the most important statistics of all... 112 salvations, 17 rededications, and too many bibles to count were passed out. Ruth is my interpreter, and she is a graduate from Mt Pleasant high school and she's a sweetheart. They have a store set up outside the hospital full of toys, books, and clothing for the children. The way it works is every patient gets a prescription, even if just for Tylenol. While their prescription is being filled they are asked to wait in the chapel were our evangelists are, Brother Sanchez and Vasquez. They are also given a ticket and get to pick one free item from the store. I have so much to talk about, and there will stories behind some of these pictures, but I'm glad the wifi is up now and will blog more tonight. Love and kisses to you all!
